Amazon Business Canada is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive – Public Sector to support digital transformation for businesses and organizations across Canada. The role focuses on selling procurement and purchasing solutions to Public Sector Government, Education, Healthcare, and Non-Profit organizations while building long-term customer relationships and driving customer adoption of Amazon Business solutions.

Position Overview
Account Executives are responsible for building and managing a book of business using solution-selling, traditional prospecting, and digital prospecting strategies. The role includes developing strategic customer relationships, promoting Amazon Business features, supporting customer adoption, and recommending procurement solutions that meet customer requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers to manage deployments and ensure successful adoption of Amazon Business solutions while collaborating with internal Amazon teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate prospecting and lead generation activities to businesses and organizations while achieving quotas and goals.
- Assist customers with registration and present registered customers with Amazon Business account tours.
- Meet or exceed customer acquisition and customer spend adoption targets.
- Educate and network with key prospects and customer contacts.
- Relay market needs and customer requirements to internal Amazon teams, including Product Management, Technical, and Category Management teams.
- Drive customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with marketing, merchandising, business development, customer service, and other key internal Amazon stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or three (3) or more years of sales or marketing work (such as e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of inside sales experience.
- Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay methods at small and medium businesses.
- Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent.

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is CAD $94,600.00 – $127,700.00 annually.
As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
