Target is seeking an Operations Manager – Regional Distribution Center to lead distribution center operations with a focus on safety, leadership, operational excellence, problem-solving, and teamwork. This role is responsible for creating a positive work environment, improving productivity, supporting team development, and ensuring operational plans are successfully executed.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager provides leadership within the Regional Distribution Center by fostering a safety-first culture, maximizing team productivity, supporting growth and development, and driving operational improvements.

The role requires an engaging and inclusive leader who can provide constructive feedback, execute operational plans, achieve performance and budget goals, coordinate across functions, and support future process flow optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership & Safety

  • Influence operations with a focus on safety, leadership, excellence, self-motivation, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Process Improvement & Problem Solving

  • Support calculated risk-taking and process improvement efforts.

Operational Execution

  • Ensure operational plans are executed effectively.
  • Support achievement of performance and budget goals.
  • Help teams meet business objectives through active support and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with the ability to engage and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Good reasoning, conflict-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including mezzanine platforms.
  • Ability to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and programs within the Distribution Center.
  • Ability to traverse conveyor crossovers.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this position is USD $73,000 – $132,000 annually.

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience, and certifications.
