Bank of America is seeking a strategic Digital Director to lead communication strategy, associate readiness, and program execution for enterprise-scale digital payments initiatives. This leadership role partners with cross-functional teams across technology, product, operations, and contact centers to successfully deliver digital payment solutions while driving stakeholder engagement, business readiness, and customer communications.

Position Overview

The Digital Director will own the communication strategy and execution for large-scale digital payment initiatives, including Wires, ACH, Bill Pay, and other payment platforms.

The role is responsible for developing enterprise communication plans, preparing frontline associates for digital changes, measuring program effectiveness, and driving strategic improvements across digital payment programs.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Payments Communication Strategy

  • Lead client communication strategy for enterprise digital payment initiatives including Wires, ACH, Bill Pay, and related payment services.
  • Develop communication strategies, messaging, planning, and execution for major digital payment programs.
  • Create clear, consistent, and customer-focused communication plans.

Associate Readiness

  • Lead enterprise associate readiness across multiple business channels.
  • Develop readiness strategies and training materials for digital payment initiatives.
  • Ensure frontline teams are fully prepared for digital payment changes.
  • Partner with multiple business units to deliver effective readiness programs.

Program Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Track communication effectiveness and associate readiness outcomes.
  • Measure program success using analytics and performance metrics.
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen future communication and readiness initiatives.

Digital Strategy & Program Leadership

  • Contribute to enterprise digital strategy and business process transformation initiatives.
  • Lead large programs or portfolios consisting of multiple projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, priorities, and resource allocation.
  • Support business case development, funding requests, and executive reporting.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Promote governance, analytics, and risk management best practices.
  • Develop portfolio roadmaps and prioritization strategies.
  • Build strong partnerships across technology, product, operations, and contact center organizations.
  • Influence stakeholders across multiple business lines to achieve shared objectives.

Executive Communication

  • Create compelling executive presentations and strategic narratives.
  • Communicate program progress, recommendations, and business value to senior leadership.
  • Support executive decision-making using business insights and data analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
