PepsiCo is seeking an experienced Associate Portfolio Manager to support portfolio governance, demand management, and enterprise technology planning within the Tech Strategy & Enterprise Product (TS&EP) organization. This role partners with senior leadership to improve portfolio visibility, investment prioritization, operational governance, and strategic planning across enterprise technology initiatives.

Position Overview
The Associate Portfolio Manager supports governance, planning, and execution across the Tech Strategy & Enterprise Product organization. The role is responsible for coordinating portfolio planning activities, managing demand intake, supporting investment governance, monitoring program execution, facilitating operational reviews, and providing enterprise portfolio transparency for executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Governance & Planning
- Facilitate demand-shaping sessions and support portfolio trade-off discussions.
- Support out-of-cycle investment requests while maintaining governance standards.
- Partner with program and project leaders to prioritize enterprise technology initiatives.
- Define and reinforce portfolio investment guiding principles.
Demand Management & Portfolio Oversight
- Manage demand intake governance following PMO and SPM best practices.
- Lead portfolio scorecard reporting for TS&EP-owned investments.
- Monitor program execution health, progress, risks, and overall portfolio performance.
- Provide enterprise-wide visibility into technology project portfolios.
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate monthly operational review meetings.
- Partner with Finance and TS&EP Leadership during Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development.
- Support portfolio consolidation and planning activities.
- Promote alignment across cross-functional technology and transformation teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience supporting IT portfolio management, governance, or integrated planning activities.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of related IT business experience.
- Experience working within matrixed organizations.
- IT financial and portfolio management experience.
- Strategic thinking and enterprise-level business perspective.
- Executive presence with senior leadership relationship management experience.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

This is an on-site position supporting PepsiCo’s Tech Strategy & Enterprise Product organization. The role involves close collaboration with executives, finance teams, program leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to support enterprise technology governance and portfolio execution.

PepsiCo offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD $104,100 to $174,300, along with an annual performance bonus target of 8%.
