No single filed job title matched this advert closely enough, so the figure above is AppLovin Corporation’s median across every role it sponsored.

The figure above is not this job’s salary. It is what AppLovin Corporation reported to the US Department of Labor for the closest role it has sponsored. A filing history means this employer has sponsored before — it is not a promise that this opening carries sponsorship, and not an offer of pay. Check the advert and ask the employer.

The role, as AppLovin Corporation describes it

About AppLovin AppLovin makes technologies that help businesses of every size connect to their ideal customers. The company provides end-to-end advertising solutions for businesses to reach, monetize and grow their global audiences. For more information about AppLovin, visit: www.applovin.com .

To deliver on this mission, our global team is composed of team members with life experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives that mirror our developers and customers around the world. At AppLovin, we are intentional about the team and culture we are building, seeking candidates who are outstanding in their own right and also demonstrate their support of others.

About the role AppLovin is one of the largest and fastest-growing ad platforms in the world. Brands of all sizes use AppLovin to grow their businesses - from small ecommerce brands rapidly growing by tens of millions in revenue annually, to large companies that do billions in revenue. Your job is to tell their stories.

You'll work within the growth marketing team to identify which client stories are worth telling, build the narrative, plan and execute the shoot (this role involves real travel), and edit the footage into something human, artful, and authentic. You’ll also partner closely with the Design team to translate our brand identity and values into a distinctive visual language across your productions, helping shape the art direction, look and feel, and overall visual execution of the final work.

What you’ll do

  • Find the story and bring it to life . Research clients, brands, and results — not just the performance numbers, but whether there's something worth watching
  • Make real people compelling on camera . Plan and conduct (or direct) interviews that feel like conversations, not Q&As, and find the moment inside a result or a founder's story that builds an emotional connection.
  • Own production end to end — pre-production, shoot, edit, delivery . Run the shoot yourself on smaller projects; brief and direct a production crew when the scale calls for it.
  • Build the system, not just the videos . Create a repeatable production cadence that keeps client stories moving from intake to final cut without the process becoming the bottleneck.

What we’re looking for

  • You think in stories, not just shots. Your first instinct is the narrative - you know what makes a person or brand’s story worth telling and what people will actually want to watch.
  • The edit is where you do your best work. You know how to take raw footage and build a story - pacing, structure, music, b-roll what gets cut.
  • You have a high bar and strong point of view on what good looks like. You can watch a video and say exactly why it works or doesn't - and you apply that standard to your own work.
  • You don’t let a shoot that’s going sideways stay bad. You instinctively read a room and adjust your approach mid-shoot if an interview isn't working.
  • Self-directed - doesn't need to be managed toward the next project.
  • 5+ years of experience in video content creation with a proven track record of producing standout and original work, as evidenced by portfolio.
  • Hands-on experience shooting and editing high-quality video content using tools like Premiere Pro.

Nice to have

  • You get subjects comfortable on camera and pull out a real answer, not a rehearsed one
  • Being able to produce stories also outside of the video production domain
  • Understanding of post-production workflows with tools like After Effects
  • Awareness of the latest GenAI tools and workflows for video and static content
