The US does publish wages — see what sponsored roles pay there.
The UK does not publish wages. The Home Office register shows which organisations are licensed to sponsor Skilled Worker and other work visas, and on which route — not what they pay. A licence also is not a job offer or a guarantee of sponsorship for any particular role.

How to get sponsored in the UK

  1. Get a job offer from a licensed sponsor. Only organisations on the Home Office register can sponsor you. Use this directory to check whether an employer is licensed before you apply.
  2. They assign a Certificate of Sponsorship. For the Skilled Worker route the job must be eligible and meet the skill and salary rules — details in the guide. Unlike the US, there is no annual lottery.
  3. Apply for the visa, and beat the filter. You apply with the Certificate of Sponsorship. Sponsored roles draw many applicants and most are screened by software first, so build an ATS-ready resume before you apply.
