Amazon is seeking an HR Partner to support its People eXperience and Technology (PXT) team by delivering an exceptional employee experience, strengthening workplace culture, and supporting HR operations. This role combines employee relations, leadership coaching, engagement initiatives, HR analytics, and operational excellence while partnering closely with site leadership and regional teams.

Position Overview

The HR Partner supports daily Human Resources operations by executing standard HR processes, providing frontline employee support, coaching leaders, coordinating engagement initiatives, analyzing workforce data, and helping create a positive workplace culture. The position also supports regional operations and requires regular travel to multiple Amazon locations.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Experience & HR Operations

  • Support employee experience through execution of HR programs and workplace initiatives.
  • Execute HR standard work while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation of HR processes and employee interactions.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Respond to employee inquiries and support issue resolution or escalation.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, roundtables, and floor walks.
  • Support issue tracking and follow-up with senior PXT team members.
  • Coordinate site-level communication and culture-building initiatives.

Leadership Support & Analytics

  • Coach frontline leaders on engagement and retention best practices.
  • Support leaders in utilizing HR tools and employee communication resources.
  • Track HR metrics including attrition, attendance, hiring data, and employee sentiment.
  • Prepare reports and insights for site reviews and business discussions.

Technology & Process Improvement

  • Promote employee and manager adoption of HR self-service tools.
  • Identify recurring process gaps and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Utilize HR technologies and data-driven insights to improve employee experience.
  • Support continuous improvement of HR processes and digital solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work onsite at an Amazon facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business, Labor Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience in customer service or people-facing roles.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools, HR analytics platforms, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience training and supporting users on HR technologies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and policies.
  • Strong problem-solving and resourcefulness skills.

Work Environment

This is an onsite Human Resources position based in Bath, New York. The role supports both the assigned site and a regional network of locations, requiring travel of up to 50% of the time, including air travel and overnight stays, while working from the home site during non-travel weeks.
