Sam’s Club is seeking a Tire & Battery Technician – Automotive to provide safe and efficient automotive services while delivering an outstanding member experience. The role combines customer service, tire and battery installation, sales support, inventory management, safety compliance, and teamwork within the Tire & Battery Center (TBC).

Position Overview
The Tire & Battery Technician is responsible for supporting sales and service operations within the Tire & Battery Center by performing automotive service tasks, assisting members with purchasing decisions, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating equipment safely, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Provide safe, efficient, and high-quality service to members.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions and product recommendations.
- Educate customers and associates on products, services, and tools.
- Resolve customer concerns while delivering an excellent member experience.
Automotive Service Operations
- Perform tire and battery service following company procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of TPMS, equipment operations, and automotive service standards.
- Maintain compliance with safety and industry guidelines.
- Utilize digital tools and handheld technology to support service operations.
Inventory & Store Operations
- Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor returns and special orders.
- Operate cash registers and process customer transactions.
- Complete required paperwork, documentation, and operational logs.
- Ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored according to company standards.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with associates to fulfill sales and service requests.
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new technicians.
- Promote teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
- Support company values, ethics, and integrity in daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to complete all required job training and assessments.
