Delta Air Lines is seeking a Pilot Interviewer – Propel to support the Propel Career Path Program by participating in pilot interviews alongside Delta and Endeavor Air hiring teams. This role helps identify qualified pilot candidates while representing Delta’s values, maintaining interview integrity, and supporting the future pilot pipeline.

Position Overview

The Pilot Interviewer – Propel participates in structured pilot interviews conducted with Delta and Endeavor Air hiring teams. The role involves interviewing pilot candidates, completing interviewer training, maintaining interview standards, and representing Delta Air Lines throughout the candidate selection process. Interviews are conducted on-site at Endeavor Air headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Interviews

  • Participate in pilot interviews as part of the Propel Career Path interview panel.
  • Conduct interviews according to established interview guidelines.
  • Evaluate pilot candidates for the Propel Career Path Program.
  • Support the identification of qualified future Delta pilots.

Training & Compliance

  • Complete formal Propel Interviewer training.
  • Remain current on interview procedures and program updates.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity throughout the interview process.
  • Follow Delta’s Core Values and Rules of the Road.

Program Support

  • Conduct interviews on-site in Minneapolis from Monday through Thursday for a minimum of one week per month.
  • Demonstrate Delta’s Brand Behaviors of Welcoming, Elevating, and Caring during every candidate interaction.
  • Represent Delta Air Lines professionally throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with HR representatives and Endeavor Air pilot interview teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Current or previous Delta pilot.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Commitment to safety, security, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
  • Availability to work approximately 32 hours per week during one interview week each month.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with or knowledge of Part 141 or Part 61 flight instruction.
  • Experience with or knowledge of university flight programs.
  • Experience conducting interviews.

Work Environment

This internship is based in Atlanta, Georgia, with interviews conducted on-site at Endeavor Air headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The position requires approximately 32 hours during one interview week each month, typically Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
