Salary Range: Pharmacist – $60.90/hr – $82.30/hr

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacist to provide pharmacy consulting services, patient care, medication management, immunizations, and pharmacy operations support. Pharmacists at Walgreens work across traditional retail locations, specialty sites, call centers, micro-fulfillment centers, and pharmacies within worksites or health systems while helping shape the future of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Basic Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the state within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
