COMPENSATION
Salary: $267,416/yr (fixed)

PURPOSE
Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for surgical and obstetrical
procedures on an elective or emergency basis at Woodhull Medical Center, under
the NYU Grossman School of Medicine affiliate partnership with NYC Health and Hospitals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for surgical and OB procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations and follow-up
- Perform life support functions during anesthesia, including induction and intubation
- Perform invasive arterial and venous cannulations
- Monitor vital functions: blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, and fluid volume
- Attend in-service training, conferences, and departmental meetings
- Demonstrate and uphold organizational core values
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Current NYS RN License
- CRNA Certification OR GRNA certificate with letter qualifying for national boards
- Advanced degree in Nursing
- 4-5 years of similar experience
- Comfortable working rotating shifts
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
