No single filed job title matched this advert closely enough, so the figure above is Snowflake Inc.’s median across every role it sponsored.

The figure above is not this job’s salary. It is what Snowflake Inc. reported to the US Department of Labor for the closest role it has sponsored. A filing history means this employer has sponsored before — it is not a promise that this opening carries sponsorship, and not an offer of pay. Check the advert and ask the employer.

The role, as Snowflake Inc. describes it

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager who can be part of a world-class team that builds Snowflake’s product and cloud platform. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by building a flexible, large scale, high-performance, and resilient platform for Snowlake features and services. Be part of the vision to create the best data cloud platform. Our ‘get it done’ culture allows everyone at Snowflake to have an equal opportunity to innovate on new ideas, create work with a lasting impact, and excel in a culture of collaboration.

AS A SENIOR TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER, YOU WILL: - Be responsible for defining and delivering important programs with broad organizational, business and technical impact.

  • Provide cross-functional leadership with Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
  • Bring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions.
  • Be hands-on, working closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to design, build, and deliver the next generation of Snowflake services and apps.
  • Amplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and light-weight processes. (Snowflake happens to have a nice data platform to use :-)

A SENIOR TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE IS EXPECTED TO HAVE: - 5+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise leading medium to large complex engineering projects in current cloud technologies

  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment not slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities
  • Experience working cross functionally with engineering, product management, and other functions involved in the product life cycle
  • Strong program management skills with technical and business acumen
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills
  • BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience (e.g. familiarity with SQL, Python, Data)

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake. How do you want to make your impact?
